Conjugaciones del infinitivo compuesto
The Spanish perfect infinitive is a compound tense formed with the infinitive of the auxiliary verb haber plus the past participle of the main verb.
Por ejemplo…
hablar (to talk, speak)
| haber hablado |
comer (to eat)
| haber comido |
ducharse (to shower)
| haberse duchado |
Since the auxiliary verb is in the infinitive (unconjugated), the past infinitive is the same for all subject pronouns. In addition, the past participle is invariable.
Por ejemplo…
| Quisiera haber comido … | I want to have eaten … | |
| Ella quisiera haber comido … | She wants to have eaten … | |
| Quisiéramos haber comido … | We want to have eaten … |
However, in the case of pronominal verbs, the reflexive pronoun must agree with the implied subject.
